Anne Aganon
Anne and her partner, Gordon, moved to the Wood River Valley from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2008. A runner since the age of 14, Anne has found movement to be a healthy antidote to stress and a great way to take a break from life’s craziness.
Her journey with Pilates started over fifteen years ago when a friend, who was doing reformer teacher training with Alicia O’Classen, asked if she would be willing to be a practice student. She hasn’t stopped doing Pilates since, and has enjoyed both mat and reformer classes. Until recently, the Upper School Art Teacher at Sun Valley Community School decided to complete the Pilates Mat Training with CoreFocus as a way to combine her love of teaching with her belief in the benefits of Pilates for all ages. Her goal is to create classes that focus on the mobility, balance, and strength-building inherent in many of the exercises in the method.
Anne has also completed the 50-hour Yoga Sculpt training at Core Focus. If you haven’t seen her in the studio, you may find her out on the trails with her horse, training for their next endurance horse event.
You can join Anne for her Monday evening Power Pilates Mat Class!
