Maddie Gittins
Maddison is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher through Alpha Yoga School in Greece, with an additional 50 hours of training in Sculpt and Burn through CoreFocus. She’s been part of the CoreFocus community since she was 17, and you might recognize her from practicing beside you on the mat or substituting during the summers. Her classes reflect a grounded yet playful style rooted in years of dedicated personal practice.
Currently studying Psychology and Neurospirituality at the University of Puget Sound, Maddison is passionate about exploring the connection between mind and body, both on and off the mat. Her teaching is energetic, explorative, and curious, often set to fun, upbeat music. She encourages students to take a hands-on, personalized approach to their practice, creating space for creativity, challenge, and joy.
Maddison recently returned from Copenhagen, Denmark, where she deepened her practice through Power Yoga. She’s especially drawn to Ashtanga and Rocket Yoga for their strength-building flow and playful approach to inversions. Maddison can’t wait to host the Elevate and Flow summer series this year, bringing new energy and fun to your practice. Outside the studio, she loves traveling, reading, hiking, and experimenting in the kitchen.
Maddie is in Washington for college but is a fantastic sub when she is home!
